After many months spent foraging, tasting, testing, creating, binning (!) and finally perfecting (we hope!) we're ready to go - well almost. Having through we were all organised I suddenly remembered we needed price labels.
Having hastily designed and printed the labels, then being reminded it's a farmers market and not Harvey Nic's, I do think we're almost there.
The nerves have now set in - will anyone buy anything, will it taste OK, what if people don't turn up. Recognising the forecast if for rain, it's cold, the state of the economy and concerns over the Euro, I think I've enough excuses if there's no one about. But if you happen to be passing Reigate tomorrow, Godalming on Saturday or Tatsfield on Sunday - do PLEASE come and say Hello!
And whilst you're at it you can taste the most delicious chutney, jelly or butter.
And if you're local to Reigate and miss this Friday, don't worry we'll be back next month with hampers too.
Must go and double check I've packed string!
Jonathan
