Having arrived home in need of a winter warmer we indulged in a glass of sloe gin with a slice of buttered, toasted walnut bread with sloe jelly. Once the fire was lit it took some effort to get up again!
We'd planned for a venison sausage casserole for a quick supper, but a spring roll with a chilli'd apple jelly dip has put us in the mood for a chinese. A well earned treat after a busy three days.
