Exciting day!

Reigate rocked today! OK maybe it bustled, a bit!  But on a much more positive note everyone who tasted a Foragers Finest product smiled!

Of those who dared to descend the steps and take a taste test most purchased one or more of our finest foraged foods and will hopefully soon find their way to our blog, twitter and facebook pages.  We'll be back in Reigate next month with our Christmas hampers on Friday 25th November.

My wife's favourite customer was a young man who said he didn't do chutney, having decided to be brave and try the lemon and lavender chutney he came back to buy a jar on his way home.  It felt like he'd come of age, progressing from spreads, jams & jellies to the adult chutney palate :)

Tomorrow we're off to Godalming for the Independent Christmas Market so tonight we've been chilling - not sure where that deluded thought came from, we've been finishing off the hampers ready for tomorrow and the Tatsfield craft fair on Saturday.

So it's been shrink wrap fun with the air gun, our wuffer Dudley took delight in trying to savage any escaping hamper filling.  My two sons were keen to help too so a real family affair creating exciting tempting Christmas gifts to those who appreciate a foraged feast in a pot.

Now everything is labelled once the weekend is over we can finally begin to create the website.  Exciting times ahead!

Night all

Jonathan
